I`m capping the old wooden Fascia boards on my bungalow but I have a problem with the section of fascia that goes over the entrance porch.
The roof felt on the porch has been run under the gutter and up the front of the fascia so I`ve got to peel back the felt to fit the capping.
I`ve never worked with roof felt before and i`m unsure how to proceed or if this is something that can be done by a `diyer`.
Is the felt liable to crack or split when removed and what is the best way to resecure it? Methods/ tools etc?
I dont know how old the felt is as we only moved in 18 months ago but it looks in decent condition.
Grateful for any tips or advice.
Mike
