My dad in law reads it, and with the virus it was really bad journalism. They downplayed the virus from the off, going on about civil liberties etc - and he did indeed take it as gospel, not helped by him starting to lose some his marbles a bit. He went out every day shopping in London, didn't wash his hands, wouldn't use the gel I got him and at 90, I think they played a part at putting him in danger. It took several weeks with us talking and showing him stuff for him to accept that there is a real risk, esp for the elderly.

Yes, we didn't want him drowning to death and alone in a busy London hospital. We care about him and for that I am not going to apologise.
