There’s about three Lambos making a row round Hove at the moment. Gosh, I can’t believe how quickly they get to 15mph. Or is it just how noisily?

Which one the 3 cyl 750 two stroke?

3 cylinder two stroke widow maker. I first rode one in 69 or 70. 0-60 4.3 seconds. Couldn’t quite do that in central brighton then but certainly tried. Smeared a triumph bin Nevill all over the London road a couple of weeks later.

Personally I prefer naturally aspirated over FI. V6, V8 over a straight 4pot turbo.

Most impressive car I’ve driven was an Ariel atom supercharged, now that was quick!

We’re running a Golf R just shy of 400bhp, 0-60 is 3.2secs.
@Pin 5 had a nice Seat.

Was looking to get an RS3 after Florida this year but SWMBO and the eldest are pushing for a Merc A45 AMG

@gasmarc wait till you see the Skylines when Nizmo have had a play

I wonder how fast your motor would get to 60 with slicks or drag compound tyres?
On second thoughts the gear box might not like the increased load.

Take em to. Santa pod on a

0ne of the quickest cars I seen there was a cos worth powered escort

A company in Wales are looking to make mk 2 escorts (all metal body work) its being developed along with GBSC previously known as the Robin hood car company from up Lees way in Nottingham

My mates just had a kit from GBSC based around a MX5 engine, with supercharger he reckons it’ll run 280bhp/700kg

Another mate does MK1 escort nut and bolt rebuilds, he’s got some mint motors in the garage.

On the way home from work this morning came by a Sierra RS500 E Reg so 1988 In polar white...didn’t realise but low mileage minters are £100k motors for them.

You must be getting the lovely old two stroke smell this weekend with the classic TT mate

Yes Ian lots of lovely old bikes over at the moment. Thank feck the weather has turned a corner for them, glorious the last two days but has been diabolical up until Friday and they got virtually no practice in.

Went to Laxey this afternoon I’ve never seen it so busy, loads of classic bikers enjoying the sun.

Was following it mate and seen how bad the weather was, glad they got a good weekend and sorry to hear about the Aussie lad RIP, we all know that if you dont get the practice time these things sadly happen, I still keep in touch with Milky Quale and he keeps me informed of what is going on, good to see Mcguiness doing well
