Hi,

The original poster says 'I enter my code, enter 1 and review the fault', and the first reply says 'Enter the code but dont review. Should shut it up'.

When I enter my code I don't seem to have the option to review the fault or not. After entering the final digit of my code it goes straight back to the 'Unit Low Batt' message.

Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated; it's been beeping since 4am this morning.

Thanks

You have not yet replaced the battery then?

Do that and the beeping will stop, that's what it's telling you!

Yeah, I have now, I was trying to find a way to avoid having to type in my user code every few mins. It took me a few hours (4am to 9am) to research what needed to be done, find a battery supplier, wait for to shop to open etc. Through all that I couldn't work out how to it get it to stop beeping; it was driving me nuts and kept everyone else awake in the house. Unless I missed something obvious, it seems like a serious design flaw.

A design fault? No it's not.

This is an ALARM system protecting what ever, it is telling you that there is a problem, in this case a faulty battery that needs replacing.

It was unfortunate that it happened at that time of day, but it was only doing what is designed to do in the circumstances.
