faulty candy cdi 1012 dishwasher

hi i have a candy cdi 1012/a 80 dishwasher.had problem with no water in spray arms so fitted new water pump.spray ok now but water does not heat and goes to fault p2 and beeps cant reset until turning power off.machine just over one year old.cant find instruction manual any ideas

P2 isn't an error code, it is the program presently selected.
A no-heat issue normally shows an E8 error on a machine with digital display.

thanks for reply but does not have digital display. p2 selected for program runs ok pumping water round machine now after fitting new pump but does not seem to heat water. machine stops mid cycle with p2 flashing and beeping only way to stop it turn power off

Check the wiring, you may have dislodged a wire or connector when you fitted the circulation motor.
If not then you have a heater issue....time to dig out your multimeter
