Faulty Danfoss cp15?

Boiler: Baxi WM 51/3RS gas

Programmer: danfoss cp15

When putting either hot water or heating on the light on the programmer flashes. The boiler will not fire.

Previously to this when HW and CH were "on" together the programmer just clicked rapidly and both lights flashed.

I spoke to danfoss, and they said it was an error in the unit.

I have bought a FP975 off ebay, but the plate is not compatable.

Is there a wiring conversion that can be done?

If you just list the wires to the existing unit it should be fairly simple to allocate these to the new unit. Both units should have little wiring diagrams on them. The likelihood is that you will need to link terminals L, 2 and 5 together on the new unit (as the instructions say!).
