Faulty Hikvision camera?

Have had a Hikvision cctv system installed for about four years. Just recently one of the cameras, after switching to black and white infra red night vision, seems to go into a sort of ghosting image. However it is ok on daytime colour image. I powered down and rebooted the complete system and the problem seemed to go away but returned a few days later.

What do you think? A faulty camera?

The fault seems to be intermittent and it's ok at the moment. If it comes back I'll get some screen shots.

I decided to reformat the drive, and at the moment the fault seems to have cleared up, so unable to grab any images at the moment.

Reformatting the drive wont correct a camera issue
