Around my F-i-l's, he asked his B-i-L if he'd be coming over for Christmas (remember when we could do such a thing? )

"Only if you buy something other than that cheap, pizz-weak rubbish you normally do."

(It was aldi or lidl, Gold Cap. In a Sapporo-like can, if memory serves.....)

It is, 2 parts Baileys to 1 creme de menthe and a bit of ice. Don't go ordering them in pubs, it was over £5 a pop last time I had it, and that was over 20 years ago.

Memory Lane time.....

Back in the early nineties, me and the future wife went to Gran Canaria for our first holiday together.

Where we discovered a bar (The Turbo Bar ), and I discovered Long Island Iced Tea.
Or, more accurately, "teas". Lots of them.

I still find it strange that vodka, gin, tequila, rum, triple sec, lime, Coke, and ice tastes just like lemon tea.
Must have drunk gallons of the stuff, on that jolly
