fcu in a ring main

hello and thanks to all that answer,
i'm rewiring my kitchen ring main and using this circuit to supply an fcu for an extractor fan. is it okay to wire the fcu as a socket on the ring and not as a spur from a socket.its seems logical to me but its always worth asking.
