Mum's in a high rise. So the main door in/out of her apartment is inside, leading to/from the communal area on that floor. Her apartment is privately owned in a block that's a mixture of private/council residents.
She needs a new main door and legislation dictates it now needs to be FD60 rated, not FD30. Please just take this as read
The local council can fit an FD60 door however it's very basic/utilitarian in appearance. Mum's not keen on it. I thought I'd found a solution with these folk however they don't supply to the public:
To give you a point of reference, mum likes FED03 style in the above link. Although not the same, the council offering is more along the lines of FED16.
When it comes to FD30 doors, it's relatively easy to find suppliers that offer doors that are more decorative in appearance. However when it comes to FD60, this isn't the case. I've been Googling and have found one or two more suppliers that do offer a decent variety, however judging by their websites I suspect they're also non public like Sentry.
I appreciate it's a long shot, however does anyone on here know of any suppliers of FD60 doors, more decorative in nature, that supply one off doors to the public?
