Hello all,

I've fitted upstands for two sklights I made into a pitched roof (concrete tiles). Having not done roofing before I'm wondering how I should cut the felt at the corners of the upstand or whether it's best effort and seal with silicone. I envisage it'll be the same for the lead flashing (shape, cut and solder?

Cheers,

Andrew

Your primary weathering will be the lead, give the felt plenty of lap up the sides and cut the felt at the corners as tight as possible no need for silicone.
