Fernco - underground?

Hi

I have a job coming up where I will be removing all the cast iron soil stack and replacing with plastic. I will also be running an internal soil pipe underground to join the stack. In the past I have always used ferncos to join the plastic to the cast iron, but these jobs have always been above ground. Are ferncos OK to use underground??

Any advice greatly appreciated.

fernco rubber jubilee type couplers are fine underground.
