Either I am being totally thick, or the Fernox TFI is totally ****e.
I fitted two of these last week, they were supplied by the customer who liked them (I preferred the Magnabooster 2). Fernox claim that the unit can be fitted vertically or horizontally, but how do you fit it if your return comes down the wall, rather than up the wall? I ended up sealing the thread with PTFE which did the trick, but this surely can't be how we're meant to do it.
I shall not be using these again; but am I missing a trick?

threre should be a conversion kit consisting of big thin yellow o ring and a plastic spacer.as mentioned in the MIs.dont know if on older versions you had to get this seperate or not.

The spirotech magnabooster all the way mate, simple design and twenty year warranty

I agree there is kit for total filter and when the customer demands it then thats what will be fitted

Fernox in there wisdom are or were only supplying o ring's & spacer's with the filter for horizontal or vertical up , they were not supplying vertical down, you need to contact fernox / cookson & they will send you the correct bit's free of charge for vertical down , went the ptfe route myself all leaked eventually !!!

Ok, well that wasn't yet available a month ago when I needed it!
