Our Ferolli combie turns off when the cold tap is running, it will also turn off for no reason. We live in a low water pressure area. Any advice would be much appriciated
 
Sounds as if you have left the filling loop open?

If the fillin loops gota double check like it supposed to it shouldnt be loosing pressure back into water main. What pressure can u get the gauge up to.
 
Yes, but people who fit cheaper boilers dont usually bother with luxuries like double check valves!

Thanks for all the advice, Himself has fitted a non-return valve on the water feed to the combi & the problem is cured. We have had a lot of work done by Severn Trent in our area & our previous low pressure has now increased dramatically, which was causing the problems!
 
Cheap boiler! Good value for money if installed right.

Yes, I perservere with my old cast iron jobby but as combis go, they are very easy to work on if they fail.
