Hi all

I have a Ferroli Compact DOMI F30B and every 24hrs the pressure will drop around 0.5 - 1 bar.

I have replaced the PRV (even though there was only about 30ml of water expelled over a week) and also replaced the automatic air vent.

I have charged the expansion vessel to 1bar and there is no sign of water leaking from the schrader valve and the pressure doesnt significantly rise during boiler operation.

I have check all rads and cannot find the slightest sign of a leak but still the pressure drops.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated?

P.s. when the boiler was originally fitted the filling loop was left constantly open (for 2 years) so the prv was constantly expelling due to the high pressure. Could something else be damaged as a result? Also heating works fine when boiler is operating

The only other place that water can leak and not be seen is from the secondary heat exchanger. Any leak there will go down the condensate drain and cannot be seen.It may have sustained some damage from the fill loop being left on.Worth checking, but it s RGI work.

Traced it back to the Secondary heat exchanger thanks. Waiting for a new one best price was £250 from city plumbing due in this week.

However I tried to put the old one back in and had leaks from the 4 outlets/ inlets on the front so bought new ferroli seals. There is not a chance that the seals for the 22mm pipes would fit!

Also the clip connectors to the main heat exchanger are a rubbish design and leaking. Can I just solder these to seal them?

Thanks
