hi guys wondered if you could help suffered a power cut then when i've tried to light the pilot it doesn't sound like the fan is starting any ideas?

Have you got the heating timer switched to on....

I am sure you need a demand for heating to get it to light??

yeah had the timer switched on and thermostat right up all rads turned on it just didn't wanna know

Did the power cut take out either the 3amp fuse for the boiler or the fuse on the pcb.

so just got back and tried to light the bugger and it made a rather nasty buzzing noise for about 5 seconds like a relay sticking(possibly) any ideas would be greatly appreciated think i might just have to bite the bullet and get a pro to have a look
