1) I want to put one double socket in my new garage, I know I use 2.5mm and only need 1 cable going to it as it is not a ring but how many sockets is max before you have to make it a ring and what breaker size do I use or is it still a 32a? Thanks in advance.

is this a new circuit from the CU?
you'll need to installa 20A radial..
no limit on the sockets
if the garage is detatchend then you'll need SWA cable burried, not T+E.

also if it is a new circuit then you need to contact the LABC nefore you start and pay the fees..

it will likely be safer and cheaper to get a registered sparky in to do it for you..

Thanks for that. I have a spare 20a mcb in house. And no i haven't got anything on a 32a mcb, what i meant by that was i knew 32a was used for ring.
