Its not so heavy that it wont stay on using heavy duty tile adhesive...just tap a few nails in below it when your fixing it
Its heavier than wood..by about 3 times...its easy to handle though
Copley moulding do a hard foam range which is very light and has a smooth finish...with its on you can barely tell the difference
