door frame.

I would like to not have to put a plastic trim back on window cill. It's quite a large gap & hoping someone could be able to suggest the best way to fill & make sure it's level before painting.

On the door frame i want to fill the whole/gap. I can cut up a bit of wood & glue it in, but what's the best wood filler to use to fill any gap & how do you blend it in so it can't be seen when painted. Thanks for looking
