Hi folks,

I want to decommission and remove some redundant cables entering the home: satellite and BT, which will become obsolete. I have a fair idea how to handle the interior/drywall part, but how should I go about filling the brick holes? Should I try to do so from both sides of the brick before attending to the drywall, and what products should I go for?

Thanks in advance,
Andy

I'd just poke a bit of mortar into the external part. Maybe colour the mortar with kids' water-colour paint to match the brick colour?

I often mix acrylic artist paints in to 2 pack fillers to deal with holes in tiles. Never tried it outside though.

It would help if the OP posted a photo of the bricks.

A friend is a brick pointer. If the brick doesn't need to be pulled out, he will use sand and cement and then "paint" them with a mix of PVA and everbuild mortar dye.

I guess that your suggestion will work.
