1st post, so please bear with me...

In the middle (ish) of converting 3 rooms into one large kitchen diner. Had walls taken out, doing the rest myself.

I've had to make 2 channels in the concrete/screed floor to run rad pipes. This has left me with the channels to fill, both about 3.5 inches deep, down to 5" where they dissappear under floordboards (both about 12-18" wide.

Looked at screeding but really dont/cant wait the 3-5 months for it to dry before moving on.

Looking to level whole area with 12mm ply before putting down oak boards. I suppose in theory i dont need to fill the gaps as I'm boarding over, but want to avoid hollows. Could I just use a dry mix or just sand, or any other ideas out there??!!

many thanks.
