Filling loop question

on my boiler is a large red knob, is this the filling loop? as Icannot see a conventional one. Thanks for the prompt reply, I am not at the location at the moment, but will get details and try online.

What's the boiler make & model? Have you got the manufacturer's instructions? Most are online.

Can you post a picture?

The large red knob is more than likely to be the pressure relief valve (PRV), This knob is used to release high water pressure.
