Filling Loop

I have found the filling loop to re-pressurise my bolier. However, when I turn the black tap as shown in the following link, nothing happens.

Do I need to tuen the valve on the other end of the filling loop..

Why don't you post in your original thread? No that is a check valve. Undo hose connection to it, then open the black tap and check for flow.

the valve/filling loop in your link only has one valve to open, some do, however have one at each end

which would require both being opened to fill system
