Hope someone can help. :(

I have recently had my livingroom ceiling and walls skimmed and painted over. However, I needed to change a light switch in the room and an over enthusiastic electricain has chipped off some plaster on removing the box. The chip measures around two inches by half an inch approx. Is there an easy way of filling the chip and painting over. It's not very deep.

Even if you cant plaster, just rub it down with fine sandpaper on a cork block, you will get a good finish.

Hello Breezer and Diyisfun. Thanks for the tips. Now i don't know which one to try. Being a woman is not easy ;)

Use as Breezer says, but my tip is just to smooth it, after it sets. Good luck

It's all making sense now. Thanks again. Just off to B&Q for the polyfilla as I can't stand looking at the blooming wall. You have saved an electrician's life today
