What is the best mixture to use to fill in the cavity between inner and outer bricks on the external wall up to DPC level, before the trench is filled with stone?
Some say mix 10 parts sand 2 parts cement and 10mm limestone.
until pourable then pour this into the gap.
Others have used a dry mix of the above?
Any advice

We normally use a lean concrete mix of all in ballast and OPC. Don't go right up to the DPC.
