Finally, a grown-up government.

No need if the PM has worked it out.
It's his job, not mine.
As had May and Johnson at the time.

Ya see the problem with being in a Customs union, is that you submit to all those full members in the customs union making all the rules. Now far be it from me to suggest that our lovely European partners might come up with rules that hurt our ability to do deals outside the union, or simply hurt us for the fun of it, Oh wait, yeah who could resit that opportunity.

Would have been better to help making the rules wouldn't it. Oh wait, we did and walked away from that

Do you really think that's the case?
Oh wait, yeah who could resit that opportunity.
Yes you do

We can all dream of a better deal with the EU. But this LibDem idea is dead, for now.

We can all dream of a better deal with the EU.
It is however a milestone: closer ties to Europe being brought into parliament

the current support for Reform is a Brexit 2.0 its the dying screams of the Boneheaded Gammon

People like Ivor

Its the dying screams of Remoaners - hoping for a customs union that isn't on the table that are ringing out.

I guess you need to vote LibDem if you want to support rejoining the EU.

meanwhile, there isn't a chance of them forming a government anytime soon.

For somebody that was in the middle and could have voted either way you really are pro brexit

I'm pro moving on and making it work, which I have done.

We need to get over the idea, that the EU will show us some mercy and cut a better deal.

Our best option is to be part of a wider EU 2.0, rather than begging forgiveness. There is no scenario where we rejoin on better terms than we had.

The country is still waiting for those benefits. But the 50 years is moving closer

Nobody with any sense thought we would get a better deal by leaving

So you agree we were better off staying
There is no scenario where we rejoin on better terms than we had.
We knew that before leaving

hence the people voted leave.
