Finally, a grown-up government.

Yes

We left. Why would you expect the benefits of membership as a non member ?

Is that what the leavers thought would happen because " they need us more than we need them "
They saw a big red bus, some very big numbers and did a lot of grunting, scratched an X in a box then carried on grunting. There was no 'post Brexit' in their sheltered world. Even slimy toad Ree Smugg suggested it would be 50 years before the UK would be rid of the Brexit scourge.
it doesn't sound like you are ready to move on.

the evil EU racketeers

the EU (the institution itself)

What utter horseshoite.

What you are complaining about doesn't exist (except in your fetid, paranoid fever dreams).

It is a group of people, elected by member states to represent our interests.

Unfortunately, we had "representatives" who weren't interested in anything other than feathering their own nests. Fromage, Gill, and the like.

The UK is ready. Brexit was a catastrophe. Sir Keir will ease us back into the arms of Europe.

he probably needs a while to gather his thoughts

For somebody that was in the middle and could have voted either way you really are pro brexit
Once Brexit turned out to be a pile of turd and it became apparent that his beloved Tories were nothing better than useless scrounging parasites, MBK all of a sudden became an on the fence Brexer and floating voter. Seriously.

However, you and I both know MBK is a brazen unashamed liar.

Poor Nosenout thought we were going to rejoin the customs union and it was a government strategy.

We aren't, it wasn't.

"Finally a grown up government".

he probably needs a while to gather his thoughts
of course he is holding talks the TCA is up for renegotiation in 2026

Hopefully it's now clear that we wont be joining a customs union any time soon and the only political party focused on joining the EU is the Liberal Democrats who have as much chance of forming a government as a coalition of the leftie trolls on this forum.

I'm pro moving on and making it work, which I have done.

You may well have moved on, but you haven't made it work.

But then nobody can - it's fundamentally impossible to make what we have work.

Rejoining the customs union would be a good way to make something work.

Our best option is to be part of a wider EU 2.0, rather than begging forgiveness.

In which tier?
