Finding a debtor - anybody got access to the Electoral Roll?

I need to find the address of ***** *****who is registered in Co. Durham. Anybody got access to the Roll? You will bank some positive karma if you can help me o this one.

 

[Symptoms]

Rigid - the only problem with a request like this that the person searching the Electoral Roll Database is logged & this info is retained; the forces of law & order can gain access to this log if ***** ***** in Co. Durham is found with broken legs in a ditch. Charges of aiding & abetting maybe???

You can register with 192.com, pay for search credits (just a few quid) and do it yourself, thus not 'dropping anybody else in it'. But remember your search will be logged.

You can walk into any library or council office & ask to see a copy of the electoral roll.

True ... but only for that locality. Rigid would have to shlep over the Pennines to Co. Durham for access to the local stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions. Using 192.com I was able to find the address where he was last registered but his elderly father there confirms he hasn't seen the son for a long time.

if they own a company try company house they will should have the info you need

His father may claim he has not been there for a long time .but well worth asking your solicitor to do a search of the address we did this to a debtor it turned out he still had an interest in the property Ie name on deeds result charge on property after obtaining judgment.better result when he tried to sell we got paid as he could not dispose of or raise finances while our charge was registered. took 3 years but we got the money over 7k plus intrest.
