I am fitting a vanity basin which has no overflow i.e. it is single skinned. I cannot find anyone who supplies a pop-up waste suitable for a single-skinned basin. Does anybody have any ideas?

i suppose you could make up the difference of thickness with backnuts, washers and silicone worth a try if compotent enough

Do you mean one that is not slotted? Unslotted wastes are available, with a variety of plugs (captive, spring-loaded and loose) but doesn't the usual pop-up type work with a single skin?

I can imagine the threaded part of the waste ole surround could be too long, also the bit which pops up. Waste could be cut off but the pipop-up , depends on its design?
