Hi All,

Has anyone any experience of using a correlator for finding underground leaks? I've instructed my contractor to use one of these to locate a leak rather than digging up half of staffordshire in a vague attempt at finding a leak on a water main. The response I got back was that correlators are only any good on straight runs of pipe and that the readings are all over the place when there are lots of bends and tee's in the pipework. Can anyone confirm or support these claims cos I'm thinking its just an excuse for not actually having a correlator?

Thanks
