After doing a completely clean re-install of my computer (taking it back to how it was when I bought it), I'd like to re-install my webcam.

I have lost the drivers disc, there isn't a model number printed on the webcam anywhere, and I can't find a picture of it on Logitech's website.

How do I find out what I've got? Is there something I can bring up which tells me the model number?

Windows XP will recognise most webcams right off the bat. Though you won't get the fancy software options that come with the webcam software.

Have you checked device manager for the model of webcam?

Yeah, I went through all the usual stuff: device manager, auto-detect etc. What I did in the end was plug it into my laptop where it is installed and got the name off there. I got the driver from a non-Logitech site, because the model isn't on Logitech's site anymore! (Or I couldn't find it).

Thanks for the replies!
