Finish thickness and door casing

I am cutting some door casings down to suit some studwork which will have some 12.5mm board.

I need to know what thickness the finish plaster is usually.

2-5 mm

Ask your plasterer what he needs unless you doing it yourself.

its normally 2-3 mil, get the casing as close to 3 mil as you can, but if they end up being a few mil more it dosent matter its easy to fill out by a few mil around door casings
