Evening all,
I had a Bathstore concealed valve unit plumbed in many moon ago, and due to me being slow at tiling and manic work schedule, I've only just got to the point of needing to do the finishing touches. This is the unit that is installed:
http://www.bathstore.com/products/trinity-vertical-thermostatic-shower-bath-valve-1970.html
There are o-rings located inside the penetrations for the valves, so all I need to do is butt it up to the wall and apply some sealant... or do I? Is this really the way to fix it? I don't have the instruction manual as the plumber probably chucked it. I've taken so shots front and rear. I could smear the back side (oooer) with clear mastic with a bead just large enough to produce a seal but not squidge out and make a mess. If I have to remove it in future to access the little filters then it should at least be possible without pulling the mosaics off.
Is this the way it should be done, and it'll keep a good seal??
