This site is brilliant for knowledge.

Question: change of use from a public house to a single dwelling. No structural work just partitions to separare rooms are fire doors required??
Or will linked smoke alarms in all rooms suffice

Thanku in advance

You don't need fire doors in a single dwelling with a normal hallway landing arrangement. Just interlinked smokes in the hallway and landing. Unless it's three storey, in which case you do. But most inspectors will allow smokes in all rooms as an alternative. If it's a very large building (being a former pub) with any floor more than 200m² things may be different.
