Fire rated material for panel

Hello,
I need to cover a square hole in a ceiling made by a overenthusiastic electrician. This has been requested by a fire consultant.
What material should I use?
I have seen 'Fire Resistant MDF Euro Class B' at my merchant. Is this suitable?
Also needed to replace a slatted timber vent above a door.

That's what's there currently I suppose. Why should a small patch be fire rated.....
