Fire Trim

I want to change my fire trim from brass to black how do I take the old one off and put the new one on

it either pushes up and comes off or its held on with magnets

I don't think it pushes up its got cement round it its about 16 years old

Had a black one exactly like that and was held on with small magnets at each corner. Give a good pull...
