Hi there. I have some ceilings to hang, before which I have to put insulation up I believe. What is normally used and how thick? I will actually be speaking to the bco about this but I'd like your advice too.
Standard timber floors within dwellings should have a minimum of 100mm mineral wool with a density of 10kg/m², the floor boarding should have a minimum density of 15kg/m² and the ceiling board a minimum of 10kg/m².

For the insulation I'll just have to make sure it meets these density requirements. Are the rest met by standard 20mm chipboard and standard 12mm plasterboard?
