Hi all,

Im moving into my first home soon, but it needs a little work first, we're yet to find out if needs a rewire, but it does definitely need a new boiler.

It's a 2 bed semi with 6 radiators in total, bath with shower over and another separate shower. We would like to have a combi condensing boiler installed but ive read a lot about site checks for water pressure etc.

If you need any other info let me know as this is all greek to me at the moment!!

What im wondering as im a young'un whos completely new to it all is what are the most reliable brands, where are they cheapest (ie buy online and have fitted or ask the fitter to source one?) what power rating would i need to run properly (my partner and i do both like our hot power showers!), and what should i look out for when buying?

Plus any other info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone

Hi.

I would advise you to get a few quotes from Corgi registered engineers.
They should do a survey at your house to see which system fits the bill.

Andy.

thanks for your quick reply!

ive just learned we do have an engineer who's a friend of a friend (not sure if he's corgi registered but we will make sure whoever does the final fitting is!) coming to look at the weekend so ill report back any info he confirms as i might be a bit more use by then!

thanks again
