This is my first time installing marble tile to the floor for a bathroom. Is marble tile with a lot of vein going to break more than marble tile with less vein?
I have open the boxes of marble tile and have found that out of 30 12x12 pieces 10 of them have what I would call heavy vein running thur them. I have put down a product call Demshield (1/2") over my 5/8" plywood floors and used thinset and screw it off on 8" centers. Im now ready for the layout. Seems to me that the vein is the real beauty in the stone. But it looks like the weak point in the tile. Will I have problems with it breaking?
