Tonight was the first time I used this site. I typed in "Space Saver RF" into google as my boiler (see above) had started to play up. The only entry on the world wide web came from this site!
Anyway, in a previous forum Q and A session, somebody had a similar problem to me and the problem was very easy to fix. Now, I am by no means Corgi registered and I do know that boilers are best left to the professionals, however, when the forum stated that his problem was the fan at the top that just needed some WD40 I decided to investigate. All I needed to do was blow on my fan and the problem has gone away...so firstly a big thank you for already saving me the cost of a call out.
(Oh and yes, I will be giving my boiler a proper check in the near future, to make sure I don't have a larger problem brewing)
Secondly, I have a question to ask. I have been extending the floorboards in my loft (extra storage space) and decided I needed a power point up there. After researching what I needed, I successfully added a spur to the ring curcuit. The wire I used is the black/red/earth and the shop said that it needed to be able to take 30amp and so that is what I bought and fitted. A friend of mine has since told me that what I have done might be illegal as it should have been fitted by a proper electrician. Is this right, and if so, how do I go about rectifying the matter?
cheers
