Fitting a bath panel that steps in ?

Hi, Ive bought a new bath panel the trouble is it steps in quite a lot at the bottom.
Hence the bath feet are in the way, they look like they arent vertical with the brackets and stick out a bit anyway.
Should I try to move them in a bit or try to find some that have thinner feet so they just slide under ?

The feet do appear to stick out as you say so is there any adjustment you can make. You may of course have brought an unsuitable panel for your bath.

If your last panel fitted ok then replacement is wrong.
