Fitting a Corner kitchen unit

Trying to fit a corner unit and have put 2 battens up at right anles which are both 100% level. Offering up the unit and it will not go square or level.

Can get 1 side level and plumb but not the other.

Really HACKED off.

Anyone advise please

Are your walls plumb and square?

Not really but the battens are level so should not the unit be square to the battens?

If one wall is not plumb it will force the other side out unless you pack it so the unit hangs plumb.
