Hay all first ever time at this so sorry now...
I own a 1916 building with bathroom out the back and looking to split the middle room in two for a upstairs bath room. Now the wall I want to put a 30" opening in seems to be made of solid plaster the wall is I believe serporting four jousts in the attic so I was going to put a lintel in but is the wall going to be strong or hard enough to support it
Any help would be good thanks
Dave.

A solid plaster wall wouldn't even support itself, so it must have a rigid inernal.

Whether that's timber, brick., concrete or other type of block it doesn't sound like you know. But if it is a supporting wall, you DO need to be careful, but methodoligy will need to know what the wall is made of.
