Hi guys,

I'm currently in the process of putting some studwork up so that we can have a downstairs toilet, it will go directly below our existing upstairs toilet as the soil stack runs down a boxed in section in the corner of the room.
My question is, if I cut the soil pipe, how do I get a T piece in if I can't move the existing up or down, so the I get a proper seal?
Can you get oversize fittings that slide way up the pipe and then you centre them?

Many thanks

Yes that's the fitting,a slip coupler had done in my place last year, just make sure the person you employ to do the work is up to date with the necessary building regulations,as this is a new installation (not a repair).

good luck.
