Evening all....

In my haste to get a bargain I ended up buying a Hive V1 for a central heating and hot water, however I have a Combi Ideal Plus 35...

Just wondered if it was possible, and if anyone knew, how to get it to work?

Thanks in advance.

It is possible, but a few things to bear in mind. .

Hive has the worst energy saving rating of all the smart thermostats
The V1 was a bit rubbish - I took a lot out for customers who were fed up with them, and switched them to Nest
If it needs wiring into your boiler (EG you have no existing external controls) you need a professional installation by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer as the cover of your boiler forms the room seal and should only be removed and refitted by a qualified person
