Good Morning, I found this site yesterday while looking for help on electrics. It all seems so friendly so here goes. My living room is being replastered so, could I take the opportunity to put in a spur 7 m long around two internal corners to supply a double socket and a 2Kw wall mounted heater I am thinking of buying, thanks. Aitch.

No. Because on the wall between the two corners there will be nothing to indicate the presence of a cable. Also, you may have an issue with circuit loading.

Check out: www.niceic.org.uk/downloads/C5-43.pdf for cable routes.

Better to go up and over, or down and under, so that cable runs to outlets are vertical, as would normally be expected. But first you need to check whether you have a radial circuit, or a properly constituted ring circuit.
