hi please help,Iam trying to add on to my current hot water cylinder system three basins and a bath, I have a stuart turner from a relative so i know it works. To the left of the cylinder I have fitted a honeywell and on top a surrey valve,I have come of the surrey valve down to the pump connector without the arrow that pionts upwards, and out of the connector that is marked with the arrow pionting upwards, this pipe says on the wall next to it "hot water taps"Ive set the water pressure to 1.4 bar, plugged the pump in but nothing happens, my hot water pressure is trickle out the other taps but the one next to the cylynder has great pressure whats happening?, any suggestions please

These pumps rely upon a certain flow rate to trigger the flow sensor ( the black plastic box strapped to the connector with the arrow on it ). If this isn't picked up, the pump will not operate. I'm assuming that there is sufficient head of pressure, and that your tap dynamic pressure was at least enough to operate the pump?

hi the water tank is in the loft and the cylynder and the rest is on ground level? could it be air lock and does it sound connected right? thanks bottle

Could be airlocked pipework, especially if it's the upstairs taps that aren't working...

the tap next to the cylinder works fine iam thinking the air lock if there is one maybe stopping the pump from firing,I drained the system then when I filled it and all was connected thats when the problem started , i do get rumblings and gurgles from the cylinder and pipes?help
