I am thinking about replacing an bypass which is currently operated via a Gate valve, with an Auto Bypass vlave. Is this a difficult DIY job?

Also I believe that the pipe work for the current by-pass is in 15mm. Is it easy to source 15mm auto bypass valve? Or is there another solution?

Go to your local plumbers merchant and they should stock 15mm auto bypass valves.Fitting is straightforward but that depends on pipework access I would advise a drain down to be sure of not making a mess.
