Asking a question in itself no but you have already made it painfully obvious you have SOME of the parts so planned to go ahead WITHOUT knowing if the system is capable of being converted.

You intend carrying out the work without any knowledge of the safety inplications involved. THAT is incompetence.
 
That is a very fair comment and as a professional engineer, one I wouldn't argue with. That is why with my background in the nuclear power world I ask before I act. I always check, check and check again. I just have. And you came up trumps.
