fitting an understair toilet

i am planning to put a toilet under the stair. the waste pipe i got is a cast iron one.can anyone tell me if it possible to join a plastic waste pipe to the cast iron one.if so any special connector to use ?please advise me.thanks

It can be done but its not really DIY. need to cut a section of cast out 700-800mm with angle grinder add plastic junction & pipe need double socket couplings with the stops knocked out & may need rubber coupling on bottom of junction depending on diameter of cast. there's lots of diierent gauge cast about.
 
I did this about 18months ago and obtained a special plastic section of waste pipe from hepworths which slipped over the cast section and then using a heat gun shrank to form a tight fit. I have had no problems with it since.
Just make sure before you cut the cast iron pipe that it is fixed very securely to the wall,and put extra brackets on if necessary.
